Does the thickening shampoo (or companion conditioner) contain proteins? I have fine, dry on the ends, oily on top hair that is washed daily, exposed to heat and prone to breakage and build up. It also does not like protein. I need something that moisturizes, smooths and does not weigh down. Is this a good product or should I try another?

I gave this shampoo a try and I loved it! My hair felt super clean and smooth afterwards. When my hair was fully dry, I noticed much more volume than usual. I simply air dried my hair and even after brushing it, it didn't feel weighed down and my hair has stayed that way even 3 days post washing. I was really surprised and I loved this shampoo! I have been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks now in my nighttime shower routine and I am enjoying it thus far. It was a little bit of a thinner consistency than I was expecting when I opened the bottle. It smells lovely, very similar to the Sea Salt spray with botanical notes and a salty note as well. It was also a little more clarifying than I would probably use *often* but my natural waves seem to like it, so I will be keeping it as a part of my wash routine when I am in need of that. Decent, But a Bit Too Harsh for My Fine Hair

I've been using the Bumble and bumble Thickening Shampoo for a few weeks. I have an oily scalp and thin, fine hair, and I wash my hair about three times a week. The shampoo felt a little too harsh for my hair. It cleans really deeply, but it stripped my hair almost completely, leaving it tangled and dry. Even though it removed all the oil and buildup, my scalp would still get oily fairly quickly, so it didn't help me go longer between washes. The scent is nice, fresh and subtle without being overpowering and I did enjoy that part. Interestingly, I shared this shampoo with a friend who has thicker, coarser hair, and it actually worked really well for her. She loved how clean and voluminous it made her hair feel, which makes me think this formula is probably better suited for hair that can handle a stronger, deeper-cleansing shampoo. Overall, for my thin, fine hair and oily scalp, it just felt too stripping. It's effective at deep cleaning, but it's not ideal for hair that needs a gentler touch.
