Does the thickening shampoo (or companion conditioner) contain proteins? I have fine, dry on the ends, oily on top hair that is washed daily, exposed to heat and prone to breakage and build up. It also does not like protein. I need something that moisturizes, smooths and does not weigh down. Is this a good product or should I try another?

I've tried MANY products for fine, thin hair. The truth is, none of them really make your hair "thicker." Some dry out your hair, making it more coarse and brittle (damaging...but it feels like more volume), and other products coat your hair with a residue (feels "heavier" like an illusion to volume...

This shampoo has a nice light clean scent. Definitely not as strong of a scent compared to other shampoos. I like to use this shampoo before an at home "blow out."
