The Super Moisture Shampoo smells good. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean. Now for the Moisturizing part, this is where it falls short. The Super Moisture Shampoo smells good. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean. Now for the Moisturizing part, this is where it falls short. I only wash my roots and scalp letting the suds run over the rest of my hair. Where I went in and massaged my scalp while washing, as I always do, my hair was very tangled close to my scalp after I rinsed. It felt grippy and my fingers did not slide on my hair. Like a squeaky clean feeling, which I would associate with a "moisture" shampoo. I normally only condition the midshaft to ends and can finger comb my hair out. This was not the case using the Super Moisture Shampoo. I had to apply conditioner to the scalp and use a wide tooth comb working to detangle my hair.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo. I've purchased 'natural' shampoos from other brands and they don't lather very good. But California Naturals lathered really well and left my hair feeling soft and moisturized.
