The CHI - Straight Guard Smoothing Styling Cream, does not mention anywhere that it is heat, thermal protectant. Will it protect the hair from heat while styling (blow dry)

I recently bought the Chi keratin mist, straight guard cream, and iron guard heat protectant. I have fairly straight hair with frizz, so I like straightening it. Can I use the straight guard as a leave in conditioner on wet hair, let my hair air-dry, spray the iron guard heat protectant, and then straighten?

I bought Chi Straight Guard when I had long hair, but never really used it until I cut it into a pixie. My hair is thin, straight, and fine. This product is great for everyday use. I put it in my hair and let it air dry or blow dry. It holds the style all day. It doesn't let it frizz and keeps fly aways tamed. ALSO GREAT FOR MY COWLICK ON MY FOREHEAD! I have never found anything that helps my cowlick better than this. It's not heavy or greasy. Leaves hair looking natural, but tamed. Also, smells great. My boyfriend also uses it sometimes. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great product and worked as I thought it would. I have fine wavy hair that is frizzy whether I air dry or blow dry it, so I wanted something to tame the frizz and straighten at the same time. I tried it two ways before this review: Use on wet hair and air dry; use on damp hair and blow dry. It looked great when air dried. It kept my natural wave, but there was absolutely no frizz. Perfect style when I'm running short on time in the morning. When blow dried, it was fine. I'd say it cut down on the frizz about 80% and it was slightly straighter than without it. One pump is the perfect amount, so the bottle should last quite a while. It does have a scent, but it's not overpowering and goes away once dried. Overall, nothing is a miracle product, but this worked well and I'm glad I purchased it.
