The CHI - Straight Guard Smoothing Styling Cream, does not mention anywhere that it is heat, thermal protectant. Will it protect the hair from heat while styling (blow dry)

I recently bought the Chi keratin mist, straight guard cream, and iron guard heat protectant. I have fairly straight hair with frizz, so I like straightening it. Can I use the straight guard as a leave in conditioner on wet hair, let my hair air-dry, spray the iron guard heat protectant, and then straighten?

I add just one pump of this to my hair after I wash it. Then I blow it out and add a little spritz of Chi Thermal Protection Spray before I flat iron. The smooth style lasts for two days in my naturally wavy hair.

I have frizzy hair and live in Houston. There is nothing that will completely solve my problem, but this is the best leave-in product that I have found that will fight the frizz and does not leave any sort of residue. My hair feels product free. (I used all Artec Textureline products with the best results for years until it was discontinued. Chi Straight Guard replaced the straightening cream for me.)
awesome straightness and softness
this is the very best straightning creme ive ever used. it works way better than the loreal smooth intense ultimate straight perfecting balm. you get more for your money. what i really love is that you can let your hair air dry and it'll stay straight without a flat iron. i use it both ways. i will not switch to anything else.
