- Brush your natural hair to remove any tangles.
- Select your wire size — try the included sizes to find your fit before you start.
- Create a horizontal part around the crown of your head, about 1–2 inches from your hairline — a tail comb works great here, but any comb will do.
- Gather the top section and secure it with a scrunchie or clip.
- Slide the halo wire along your crown like a headband — your hair will fall naturally beneath it.
- Release the top section and use your fingers or a comb to gently blend your hair over the wire.
- Style as usual — curl, straighten, or leave as-is. Your halo is heat-safe and made to move with you.

This is my first halo, and I love it. It was incredibly easy to use - I changed to a shorter wire and then had it on and ready to go in minutes. I wore it yesterday for a full day (10 hours) and it was incredibly comfortable. I can't believe how well it blends! I have a toddler sized head, and I was worried it would be too big and wouldn't lay flat. I changed to the 0 size wire, and it is perfect. I have fine hair, and got the 12" medium. It is really perfect, plenty long (my hair is just past my shoulders) and not too heavy at all.

I have been wearing the Sitting Pretty Halo extensions for 5 years now and they truly are the best on the market. It has given me the confidence to wear my hair down again. I've gone from dark blonde, which matched perfectly at the time, to light brown/medium brown (my natural color) and there truly is a seamless blend. Cutting just a few layer pieces in the front of the 12-inch version and I'm good to go! Not only is the product itself great, but customer support is even better. I recently had an issue with an order not properly fulfilled and CS responded and rectified the issue within 24 hours! I was just as impressed with their response as I am with their product.
