I've been using the California Naturals Sensitive Scalp Shampoo for about a week now, and so far I'm really impressed. It feels gentle and hasn't irritated my scalp at all, which is usually my biggest concern. My hair feels clean without being stripped, and my scalp stays comfortable after washing. It's still early, so I can't speak to long-term results yet, but first impressions are very positive.

I'm really glad this was a free sample via BzzAgent, because I do not like it. The shampoo is slimy and takes a while to lather. And after rinsing my hair is so squeaky clean that it feels dry and tangles easily. Is it gentle? Yes, but drying too. It's also completely unscented, if you want that.

As someone living in New England, I really struggle this time of year with the harsh winters and super dry air from oil heat. My scalp gets incredibly angry and itchy, and on top of that, I also deal with psoriasis, so finding something that actually soothes my skin feels almost impossible. I decided to try California Naturals Sensitive Scalp Shampoo after being asked to join as a reviewer and honestly, it's been such a relief. After using it, I've noticed a huge difference, I'm not constantly scratching my hairline or the back of my neck anymore, which is usually where I flare up the most. Before this, I was using another shampoo that claimed to help itchy scalps, but it had such a strong fragrance that I think it actually made things worse and irritated my skin even more. This one feels much gentler and calming, without that overpowering scent. Overall, this shampoo has been a great find for me, especially with how sensitive my scalp can get in the winter.
