I have had an oily scalp with Seborrhea since my late teens. I have to use the usual a drug store brands and a few others to keep build up at bay. Prescription shampoos were not good for my color treated hair. I was so excited to find Bumble and Bumble made an oil control shampoo with both Zinc and Salicylic acid. I have fine hair and prefer to wash daily, so I can not speak to lasting oil control, but I due feel like my scalp is nice and clean and no build up. Since trying this I have not had any flare ups or flakes, so I am happy to report it's doing its job. The smell is very light and unisex like a light mint and eucalyptus. I have the most greasiest scalp with flaking. I usually feel like my scalp is never clean unless I get it professionally cleaned at the salon. Since becoming new mom, it's been hard to get frequent wash days in so I often go up to 5-6 days without a wash. I used this shampoo for a whole month and I will say I'm pretty surprised. My hair didn't feel weighed down and it was pretty clean. I love the smell. It's not perfumey which is a plus. Overall my scalp liked the shampoo and I'm usually very picky. I absolutely love this shampoo. It feels like a salon wash at home. Really indulgent lather but also a really nice, thorough clean. I let my mom borrow this shampoo and she immediately stole it!
