Begin with dry hair. Comb and part your hair as you normally wear it. Put on gloves.
- Open one activator packet and pour it into the bowl.
- Mix the color and activator with the brush until fully blended.
- Apply to your roots on your t-zone (hairline & part).
- Use the cleansing wipe to remove any color from your skin.
- Set a timer for 10 minutes.
- Wearing gloves, rinse hair until the water runs clear.
- Shampoo then condition with the Color Therapy Hair Mask included in your kit.
- Let the mask sit for 5 minutes then rinse again.

Great color for home application

This was my first time coloring my roots myself. I had my color touched up at a salon and the stylist used a lighter color that had my roots lighter than the rest of my hair. So, to avoid disappointment and hundreds of dollars, I decided to try it on my own. Everything you need comes with the kit. The instructions were easy to follow. The product didn't have a smell, provided great coverage of my greys, and left my hair feeling soft, full of body, and manageable. I highly recommend for others that want to try their own root touch-ups.

Too dark but colored my roots perfectly

I purchased the 5N root touch up and it was too dark. I wish the root touch up products came in more color choices. I will try the 6N next time I need a root touch up. That being said, it's easy to use, includes enough product to color your entire scalp which I really appreciate. It left my hair soft and manageable. I like that it includes two kits because I color my roots every 3 weeks. Again, I just which the root touch up came in more colors.
