Q&A

Q
Is this product noncomedogenic?
Asked by Hannah
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! There is actually no FDA regulation for the term “comedogenic." In fact, there are no standardized tests that can accurately determine if an ingredient will or will not clog your pores or cause breakouts, so we stay away from that term generally. Skin health is completely individual and dependent on genetics and lifestyle choices, including skincare! However, for those who are breakout-prone, we would recommend trying this as your nighttime cream because it has a rich texture and feel! We also always recommend patch testing our products on a small area of skin to see if our ingredients work for you!Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this safe enough to apply on milia prone eyelid / bottom eye area skin?
Asked by neligranja
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! Our resurrection polypeptide cream was carefully formulated to be gentle and was dermatologist tested to ensure it’s non-irritating, but has not been specifically tested for milia. For the under-eye and eyelid area specifically, we recommend the revitalizing eye cream. It deeply hydrates and refreshes eye area, locks in hydration around the eyes, soothes and depuffs skin with a hygienic metal applicator tip.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this product good for oily skin?
Asked by shaf
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! The resurrection polypeptide cream is a rich, restorative cream that works for a wide variety of skin types. Those with normal to dry skin types especially appreciate its deep moisturizing abilities. Those with oily and breakout-prone skin typically prefer a lighter weight moisturizer, like our texture smoothing cream or electrolyte water cream, but our resurrection polypeptide cream may be a great fit as a night moisturizer for oily/breakout-prone skin experiencing dryness. We still always recommend a patch test to confirm compatibility because everyone has unique skin and concerns. Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Hi, what's the expiration date of lot #E735423? Thank you
Asked by Kim
Official Answer By cocokind - Brand Engage
Hi! The resurrection polypeptide cream with Lot Code E735423 has a manufacturing date of 12/20/2023. In general, our products have shelf lives of about 12 months after opening and 2 years unopened. On the bottom of every product box, we list a PAO (period after opening) symbol. It should look like a little open jar with a number and the letter M (months). This will help you determine how long each product is good for after opening. Storing them in a cool, dry place, tightly closing the lid, and using clean hands to obtain the product, always helps maintain the integrity of the shelf life. Was this answer helpful to you

Okay WOW

I did not purchase this product, nor did I really seek something like this out, I got it as a free gift for buying smoother products from this brand. Now I'm seeing some arguments about the texture, mine was left outside in freezing weather for a few when delivered, so I don't know if that affected ...

Surprising but Good

I thought this was going to be similar to Belif's Moisturizing Bomb (a favorite of mjne but I find my makeup does not lay well over the Belif product), but the texture is drastically different. The Cocokind moisturizer has a bouncy texture similar to a jelly. Yet when applied to the skin, it feels l...

Sadly Disappointed

I love cocokind so it saddens me to make this review but this moisturizer was deeply disappointing. The first time I purchased it, the package was already opened with a weird goopy consistency and there was crust all over the sides and the lid, so I thought it had gone bad, I returned it and got a new sealed one, just to open it to find the same paint like consistency and crust formed around the top of the lid. I've used it a few more times to give it a fair shot, but the packaging is so messy and the moisturizer itself feels like I'm rubbing paint all over my face and took so long to absorb. once absorbed, my skin didn't feel or look moisturized. So bummed but I'll just stick to the cocokind products I know work.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I loved this moisturizer and used it for about 5 months. It wasn't until I switched for a lighter summer moisturizer that I realized it was giving me caused comedones and cystic acne in a reocurring spot. Giving 3 stars though because it is very moisturizing, just be aware if you deal with comedone related issues !

Unpleasant cream

Submitted 1 month ago

By Lisa

From Pennsylvania

I was expecting a rich cream so I was disappointed to find the cream is rather thin. It looks and feels a lot like wall paint. I find the scent unpleasant although it doesn't linger on the skin so its a temporary annoyance. It feels like applying paint to my skin but it does rub in well. It sets down to a non-shiny finish. It is good for daytime under make up or at night before bed. I find it moderately hydrating, but my skin is pretty dry. This just isn't enough for me. I wouldn't repurchase....I just can't get past the texture and scent.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

My skin is dry, aging, sensitive, and is prone to rosacea and eczema. Previously, I was using Weleda Sensitive line, but it was discontinued. It was just ok--no real positive changes to my skin. I've been using this product along with a serum from the same line for about 2 weeks. My skin is calm and moisturized. It's a little soon to tell if there are any positive changes, but I would definitely order this again.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
