My Scalp History: Two years ago, I had a devistating reaction to Briogeo Don't Despair Repair Shampoo that set off years of major hair loss, contact dermatitis and seb derm (all diagnosed by a dermotologist). A routine of vanicream shampoo and low irritation conditioner has help partially with my recovery. This is was one of the first serum I introduced to my routine to start gentle peptide signally for regrowth. Many of the other options like the Ordinary and other fragrance free options were full of surfactant heavy emulifiers, strong penetration enhancers, and harsh preservatives that only exasterbated my scalp reactivity and further stripped my impared scalp barrier. Ingredients: While many of the reviews are displeased with the water like texture, as a cosmetic formulator, I actually perfer having no irritating emulsifers to thicken the texture (emulsifeier can strip your scalps natural sebum with consistent used and it the primary cause of irritation in scalp serums). Pantheol and glycerin are high on the ingredients list indicating that this is a barrier first formula that properly buffers the peptides to avoid irritation. The pea sprout extract supports hair growth signaling while Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 anchors hair to prevent shedding. While this isn't the most aggressive hair regrowth peptide combination available and will take longer for results, it has a very low irritation risk and provide better long term results for sensitive scalps. Application: As some of the other reviews have mentioned, this bottle doesn't last especially lomg. I use about 1-2 droppers full of the serum every other days and the bottle lasts me about 3 weeks. However, with peptides daily use isn't necessary and every other day application is actually ideal for sensitive scalps. I focus my application along my hair ling and temples. Results: As will all hair growth treatments, patience and considtency is key to results. After applying this every other day for about 3 months, I am noticing baby hair sprouting all along my hairling especially at my temples. Even my dermatologist was surprised. However, it will likely be about 6-12 months before I realistically noticed improved overall hair density. Hair growth or not, however, i am very pleased with how this has gently improved my scalp barrier. I am noticing less and less irritation with consistent use. Reccomendation: If you have a very sensitive scalp, are just delving into scalp serums, and care more about your scalp barrier than hair growth this is a great options. If scalp sensitivity isn't a major concern for you and you are looking for more aggressive hair growth signaling, there are more effective options on the market for you to explore. Look for Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, Copper Tripeptide-1, and Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 since they are the most effective.

I really wanted to love this product. unfortunately it did not last more than a week. Honestly, I question the efficacy and ingredient delivery system as it felt like straight water and TEWL = evaporation. So disappointed in this product because I want to support and buy from brands who's values align with mine. I reached out to their support line to let them know about my experience and was told that's 'odd' and they gave me a 10% off discount code to buy it again which truly isn't incentivizing enough for me to want to buy and try again especially when ulta is constantly running sales on their products and offering coupon codes with higher discounts and their minimum purchase requirement for free shipping is $50. I would have preferred an alternative service recovery solution to be retained as a customer.

I recieved this on December 12th and it is completely empty as of December 25th. I didn't even use it every day, used it on average once every two days and I missed a day or two. So altogether I got to use it like 6 times and it was done for. $20+ is not good value for a serum you only get to use a few times. Unfortunately, I will not be repurchasing. great product, horrible value.

I love this scalp serum. I have low porosity hair this serum helps my hair so much. I have finally found a product that actually helps my hair overtime with consistent weekly use. Excited for growth strength and thickness in my hair.

Love that its all natural ingredients and smells very good highly recommend. Plus women owend! And made in the US
