Would be OK for some
This test product had a good texture and it melted well between my fingers. It did not cause a reaction on my scalp. It felt good going on. It is lightweight. I did not feel like it brought shine to my hair or scalp. I would not use it like I do my hair grease or oil.

I love the thick balm texture of this hair and scalp balm .This is the first and only hair and scalp balm I have known to be available .This works so nicevo my scalp it soothing to my scalp amd moisterizing, but not heavy . Smells nicely and not overpowering, I cant stand overpowering hair products which smell too strong , this balm is just right .Scent doesn't longer for days. I like the ingredients on my 4B/C hair .

This is a great product. I love the formula. I use it a few times a week to keep my scalp from getting dry. A must have for the dry, winter months and when wearing braids. Most oil products are too heavy for my hair and scalp, but this works well!
