I have been using this serum since it came out. The last bottle I purchased smells like straight up chemicals. What happened? Was it a bad batch or did the formula change?

I really like this
No idea why I bought this but I am glad I did so. Since using this for a few weeks - in conjunction with other products (Hyaluronic, Retinol Scar + Wrinkle, Salicylic but not necessarily all at once - and these for around 10 months) I have noticed a actual marked improvement in texture and quality o...

It hurts my face, fine on my body
My skin is labeled as generally very dehyrdated ànd dry, due to a medical condition, so I am always looking for better or more hydrating serums to keep my skin from feeling tight, itchy, rough and flaky. Hence, I was very excited to try this product! I honestly do not think though my skin can be lab...

Smells bad and dries instead of hydrates
The smell is quite bad and it is not hydrating at all.
What happened?
I have been using this serum since it came out. The last bottle I purchased smells like straight up chemicals. Not sure if there was a bad batch or if the formula changed but the smell is so offensive it is unusable. This was one of mu favorite serums.
Scent prevented further evaluation
I wanted to test this out to find a less expensive alternative to my current serum of choice, i went to use this product for the first time and it had such a strong scent that reminded me so much of rum and i couldn't stand to use it on my face more than twice before having to return it. I may have gotten a defective product but it was purchased with my own money and I will not risk it again.
Nice serum
Would by again
