The product I have been using was discontinued- Kenra pomade 4. Ulta recommended this product as a substitute but it is nothing like my other product. Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have wavy hair but right at my temples I have short curly hair (I call them my head pubes). They drive me nuts and I was looking for a product to smooth them out and tamp them down. I chose this after reviewing different products. On the plus side this smells great! Scent is subjective but I like the clean light fragrance of this wax. The feel of the product itself is not too waxy or greasy. It is pretty firm though and I have to dig it out of the container and rub my fingers together to soften it up for use. The down side for me is that this isn't really working as I had hoped. The hair I'm trying to tame is coarse, but even when I put a lot of this product at my temples it works just okay, but doesn't hold it in place all day. I like the concept of this product but it doesn't really work for me.

I have been using the texturizing taffy for awhile and really do like it...just wanted to compare the working wax to it. I love both but the wax wins out for me just slightly ahead of the taffy. I have chin length straight, fine hair but not thin. It loses volume and hold after styling and ends can get quite dry and frizzy but this helps handle all of that. I don't need a lot, just a pea size amount, rub between hands and run my fingers through and it's been great.

Great product
I just started using this product for my leave out hair on my sewn in extensions. This product blends in my hair perfectly into my extensions. Honestly it's better then the wax stick. Doesn't leave my hair heavy or sticky. Also works great laying down my edges.
