FINALLY FOUND MY HG!!
Since my Got2b Mess-mer-izing hairspray was discontinued years ago, which was the ONLY hairspray that would work on my thin and fine hair, I have searched absolutely everything for something to duplicate what it did. It didn't just hold, it would help me style in that I could lift the hair with a hair pick and spray it and it would stay lifted. Once I had everything lifted and styled, I would use it as a finishing spray, and it would last all day long. I've used sprays that claim to be the highest number level of hold, every brand that's pretty much out there, all levels of price. I finally ran across this, looking at this brand that was on sale the other day. So, not familiar with this one being a "volume spray," even though I've used numerous Kenra products, I ordered a large can which just came. I got in front of the mirror and lifted my hair from the top with a hair pick, sprayed it, and it stayed lifted. I couldn't believe my eyes! I know this sounds silly to people, but my sisters out there with fine hair that actual stronghold hairspray doesn't hold it "up," will understand! I don't need anything but this from now on!!!!

What happened?
I have used this hairspray for at least 10 years . Something has changed with the formula. It no longers provides hold . Very upsetting, spending money on something that has not performed as it always had , or as it is advertised . Why change the best hairspray ,especially without notice?

Kenra answered that VOC is determined by state you live in. I live in Florida and I get both....sometimes it's 80% and sometimes 50%. I love the hold of the 80% but my hair is curly and needs "picking" and when I do that with the 80%, it hurts me because of the pulling of the hair even when I try to gently pick it and damages my hair. The 50% doesn't hold as well, but that is what I need to stop the damage. HOW CAN I GUARANTEE WHICH VOC I AM GETTING IF I ORDER FROM YOU? I love Kenra and don't want to give it up, but I must be able to tell what I am ordering when I order it.
