As cutting lotion: Based on hair type, layer appropriate amount onto damp hair for instant slip and manageability.
After cleansing: Based on hair type, layer appropriate amount onto damp hair and comb through to ends for radiant shine.
As finisher: refresh midlengths to ends by spraying into palm and applying to dry hair.

I've noticed black specks when I spray this product into my hands, and when I opened the bottle there is so much more... I've only had this bottle for a few weeks. Is this mold?!

Huge fan
I would literally buy this for the smell alone, I am obsessed, smells soooo good and refreshing. But thankfully this product is also AWESOME. I have fine hair and usually have to wash it every day because it gets oily quick. Oddly enough, with this product I was actually able to not wash it until a 3rd day and my hair looked good all the way through the 3rd day... which was so confusing because usually products like this would make my hair feel oily quicker but somehow this just made my hair soft, shiny, and manageable, and not oily... like seriously this stuff is magic in a bottle. When I apply I just spray 3-5 sprays into my hand and apply once I'm out of the shower, just though the mids-ends of my hair. Works great on both bleached hair and non-dyed hair, really smooths the hair without weighing it down. Haven't tried on dry hair yet because I'm just obsessed with how good it works on damp hair.
Great Product, Poor Package Design
This product is the first of this brand that I've tried and so far I'm highly impressed. I use this prior to blow-drying. I have long, straight, fine, color-treated hair. PROS: Prevents tangles as I'm drying, leaves my hair soft + smooth without greasiness, fights the frizzies (I live along the super humid Gulf coast area). CONS: It is a liquid-lotion format so if you're expecting it to spray a fine mist you'll be disappointed. As other reviewers have mentioned you'll fare better spraying the product into your hands then applying as needed. Then there's the scent: to me it smells like"spicy" perfume scent. OVERALL: I'll gladly deal with the cons to have hair that looks like I've just stepped out of my stylist's chair.
Must have!
I've been using this stuff for years and it works wonderfully. It makes my hair smell and feel amazing after a shower. It helps it to dry more smoothly and keeps frizz at bay. Those who say it's oily and sprays bad are using it wrong. I spray a few pumps into my hand, rub my hands a bit, then run it through all the parts of my hair after combing, rub around my hair some more, then comb again. Then I let it work it's magic :)

I received a sample of this product over a year ago and that small amount really lasted! I use it after drying my hair and styling to add shine and control any frizz . My hair looks like I just came from the salon with this finishing touch . My daughter is hooked as well - she has long, long , color treated hair with lots of split ends and this product makes her hair appear much smoother and healthier .
Great for keeping bleached hair healthy!
I have been using this product for about a month now and just got my hair bleached again and my hair doesn't feel as damaged as it normally does. It actually feels somewhat healthy. My aunt did my hair and said my hair was a lot stronger than it was 2 months ago. She's a hairdresser btw. Would recommend if you get lots of treatments done on your hair. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it's not a mist so it makes it kind of hard to evenly coat your hair and the smell is a little meh.
