Is this product supposed to sting a little bit when you first apply it? I don't notice any rashes but every time I use it my face stings a little and then it goes away.

This moisturizer is meant to be very calming and soothing, which is why you're not experiencing any redness after the sensation, so that's a great thing. It sounds like you may have a compromised skin barrier that is stimulated by one of the higher concentrations of ingredients. We suggest checking out our Rescue Party Barrier Restore Serum (AM/PM) and Comfort Cream (AM). My Favorite
I always wait a long time to review any skincare or beauty products. Sometimes they work on my skin for a little bit, but before long I need something else. I have been using this cream since May 2024 and it has done wonders for my sensitive, red, acne prone skin. My skin always feels smooth and hydrated, but not oily. I usually take 1-2 minutes to fully massage the product into my face to avoid any residue feeling, but even when I'm being lazy, it soaks up pretty quickly. I love the way it looks and feels on my skin, and plan to use it for a long time.
Wanted to love it, but much too thick
I love many P&L products, but not this one. I thought it sounded perfect for my older, dry skin but I cannot get past the gross, thick texture. It's like weird-smelling putty, I have to scrape it out of the jar with a spatula, and it doesn't absorb well. It didn't break me out or irritate my skin but I still can't stand to use it. I prefer P&L's Peptide Moisturizer.

Wanted to love it but still searching
I haven't had good expeience with this brand before but gave a shot since its been a few years. Texture is very thick, could put the cream upside down and doesnt move. There is a slight lavendar smell if you looking for it but otherwise smells plasticy to me. Ingredients dont seem to be in high enough confentration to work much- I have sensitive dry skin and my skin begame clogged with more problems once using this product. Saw no improcement with any of the claims it had for the product unfortunately.
