I really love the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner. It applies incredibly smoothly and effortlessly, without pulling or tugging on my lips. The shade that developed on my lips was actually different from how it looked when I swatched it on my forearm, and I absolutely loved the color it turned on my lips. That definitely made this lip liner feel unique and special to me. It also has great staying power and lasts for hours without needing constant touch-ups. I would definitely purchase it again! Because it's a pH-activated formula, the final berry shade can vary depending on your skin's chemistry, on some people it turns a bright magenta-berry, while on others it settles into a deeper plum. Also, because the gel sets quickly into a stubborn, long-wear film, you only have about 10 to 15 seconds to blend or smudge it out before it locks in place for the day. I really enjoyed getting to try out this product. It was the first time that I've used a PH makeup product and now I can't wait to try other ones. This one looks great on me! I started by lining my lips but ended up filling in my entire lips with the lip liner.the color appeared almost instantly and matches my skin tone perfectly. This lip liner is really cool. It glides on smoothly like butter, and the best part is watching the color develop on your lips, it warms up and transforms into this beautiful berry shade that is unique to your own pH and compliments your skin tone.
