- Asked by Fakihah
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageGreat question! Both products can in fact be used in the same routine and you are welcome to use each in any order you please, as the Niacinamide Serum is intended for use on the entire face area and the Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel is intended for use only around the eyes. Was this answer helpful to you

I bought this product in a big ulta order and honestly I forgot that I even bought it until it came. It wasn't like I researched it heavily before I bought it I just looked up best niacinamide serums and picked the one that came up on ulta. The first time I put this on, I think my jaw dropped. Combination Skin Type
I have a combination skin type and my partner has extremely dry skin. It has worked super well for both of us, and I've definitely noticed a difference in my usually large pore size. I just bought my second bottle!
Holy Grail!
This serum is a holy grail in my routine! I notice such a difference in my skin when I use it.
Cheap and works
It took a few months to really see the difference this made. It has significantly reduced the red bumps that were prominent under my eyes and next to my nose. It has slightly reduced overall skin redness. Reduced flare ups of cystic acne. Overall, really improved skin texture. If i stop using it, the bumps and cystic pimples start coming back. I have oily skin i apply this once a day usually in the morning followed by gel moisturizer with aloe
My skin can't tolerate this
I have sensitive skin that is redness prone and have been very cautious about what products I use. I've had good experiences though with other Good Molecules products, including the Niacinimide toner, so was excited to try this. I have been using the toner for several months and am on my second bottle. It's never caused a bad reaction or irritation and seemed to be slowly faded dark spots from sun damage and age. I was hoping this serum would fade those spots more quickly. Immediately after using this serum my face turned neon red, like I had a bad sunburn. The skin even felt hot. It stayed that way for a couple of hours. I tried using it three times but every time my face turned bright red and felt like it was burning. There's no way I can use this product. Bummer. This is why I have been a super minimalist when it comes to skincare products and afraid to use stuff because so many products on the market irritate my skin. I thought Good Molecules was a holy grail but this serum apparently is not for me. I guess judging by these reviews it must work for some people but the niacinimide concentration in this is way too high for my skin. I will try their Discoloration serum instead, but otherwise just stick with the toner since I can tolerate that well.
