I have to say I agree with the comments on this flat iron. I have had this flat iron for 4 years, it still works the way it did the first time I used it. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, which gets frizzy in humidity. The plates glide easily through my hair, it doesn't get stuck like many other inexpensive flat irons do. It makes my hair shiny that lasts until I wash my hair again, and keeps the frizz to a minimum in humid weather. I use this flat iron mostly to curl my hair. I have a Babyliss curling iron as well, but I use this flat iron to curl my hair almost every day, and the curls hold very well! I would definitely recommend this styling tool! It is so worth the money!
So......I too wanted to love this flat iron. I went to Ulta initially to buy a Chi but an employee that was helping me indicated that she hated the Chi and that the Babyliss was 100% better. I get home eager to flat iron my daughters hair after washing and taking her braids out. The iron heats up fast and has multiple settings which is good. However, you can barely hold the iron where you need to keep it tight within your grip because the handle is too hot! It did not get my daughter's hair straight at all and it did not smooth any parts of her hair including the ends. If you have to do several passes through the hair and it's still not straight at the highest setting then it just simply is not a good flat iron. If your hair is super thin it may work but other than that, I wouldn't recommend this iron. Returning it TODAY.

Love this straightener!

I loved this at first but after a couple months it would randomly cut off. Now it won't turn on unless I have the cord a certain way.

I absolutely love this flat iron. I have the 1 1/4" and it straightens in one stroke and I like that I can curl with it too. This is the 2nd time I've bought this straightener. I've tried other big name brands to try to switch it up but they kept disappointing..
I HIGHLY recommend this brand:)

Stopped working after a few months, would turn on but stopped heating up completely.

I'm so disappointed. I wanted a babyliss for a while and waited until I had a 5x the points promo to buy it. The plates don't touch when you clamp it and I can't justify keeping it because they don't even touch when I squeeze it as hard as I can. It's just not made well ☹️

After having mine for 11 years, I decided it was time to get the same one again because I love it so much! My original one still works, and functions as it should even after more than 10 years. It definitely does it's job for my frizzy hair.

I recently decided to splurge on a new straightener because mine doesn't straighten my hair or calm frizz at all. I decided to actually get a decent one and it was so worth it!! If you are on the fence, buy this! I have frizzy, wavy hair and this makes it so straight and takes away frizz in one pass!

Loved this flatiron, however it can get extremely hot, which is superb for thick hair, and it is durable. Just clean it consistently and you'll get great usage out of it, I purchased 04/2021 and still likely have several more years of use with it.

Leaves the Hair silky

Super heavy and it doesn't straighten my hair well unless I pass it over a few times. Since these are titanium plates i feel like my hair will really get damaged. Returning back.

I'm loving this new flat iron. I have soft, mixed, curly hair and used the 375 with a single pass over my hair. It felt smooth and didn't snag. It left my hair very shiny and healthy. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Best straightener ever!! My hair is curly and frizzy, and no matter what product I used whenever I would straighten it, it would get frizzy and waive within 20 min (I was using the chi with ceramic plates). I know titanium plates are more damaging, but also can create a more sleek look, and honestly I don't flat iron my hair that often and when I do I want it to stay sleek. But if you want to flat iron your hair everyday you might want something with ceramic plates so it won't be too damaging.

I bought my flat iron more than a year ago. It works great! I read couple bad reviews but if you put to much hair through the iron your hair will get caught. If you section your hair it works great. After use let it cool down before putting it away. I love my flat iron

My husband bought me this for Christmas. I am not a CHI fan and have always heard good things about Babyliss products. I have long, thick hair. The plates didn't close flush. It also snags and pulls my hair out. Definitely not what I was expecting from such an expensive product. I wish I could return it. I would go by another Paul Mitchell.

I have a 1/2 T3 and I got it about a year ago because it was on sale. I'm not into curling my hair & if I do I'm better with a wand. I got the baby bliss because I wanted bigger plates to try & cut down my straightening time. I have thick partially wave, sort of coarse hair. I have to straighten over 400 degrees & 1 pass is never enough but I want straight hair. I can't stand seeing straight hair with waves underneath, like someone can't section.... these large plates did not disappoint & flattening is quicker. But! Because the plates are so large it's a bit bulky & square shaped, so it doesn't feel comfortable to hold at all but I'll trade that for pin straight hair.

I've had this bad boy for 13 years and it just quit on me - the best straightener I've ever used. Makes my hair so shiny and straight and it never frizzes - buying one again ASAP.

I bought this flat iron and it was working good and after month it's damaged

I have wavy hair and a lot of new hair coming in because of postpartum hair loss. The little hairs sticking out was ridiculous. In my experience the clamps do close enough together to get the job done and I haven't had it pinch at my hair. I also only use this straightener on the second setting. It gets really really hot even for me and I don't have fine hair if I used it in the highest setting my hair would burn off. I have the bigger one and I haven't tried to curl my hair with that one so I can't attest to a hair curling experience.

I use this flat iron to straighten my hair. It heats quickly, and does a great job. So far, setting the temperature to 410 yields the best results. I do wish the temperature could be adjusted in smaller increments. Outside of that, it works perfectly for me.

My husband bought me this for mothers day. I have very thick, wavy/frizzy hair. I dried my hair and went to use this and immediately knew she wasn't the one for me. The plates didn't close flush to one another, and it led to a LOT of snagging and hair pulling. Like pulling hairs out of my head.

It doesn't do nice Curls as I was expecting!
