Begin with dry detangled hair. Divide hair at the temples and secure the top half out of the way. Then divide the bottom half into 1-2'' sections to begin styling. Hold the wand over your head with the tip pointing downward and wrap a section of hair around the barrel. Finish with the end of the section against the barrel tip. Hold for a few seconds then slide the wand out to release the wave.

This product I have never burned myself using. It always leaves me with the prettiest curls, and I love how easy it is to tame on trips and how it has never been damaged. It's a,ways had the best performance.
Poor design
Hate that my hair always gets caught in the small screw towards the barrel. It has pulled out a bumch of my hair :( Maybe okay for shorter/medium length hair, but NOT for long hair (lower back length or longer). Very poor design.
