Not just baby hairs - it works!!
This review is long overdue but given the rate of natural hair growth I wanted to ensure it wasn't just fuzz, baby hairs, or wishful thinking. As you can see I also have some psoriasis on my scalp before I began and still. This product had no affect, neither positive or negative, on the psoriasis ...

DECIEM will not disclose content concentration
This product is in large part marketed on the fact that it contains REDENSYL. There's some clinical evidence that REDENSYL promotes hair growth. However, DECIEM will not disclose the concentration of REDENSYL in this product, making it impossible to compare with alternative products containing the i...

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have fine wavy hair. I am on my second bottle and am currently testing the results which may not be for another month or so. It comes with a dropper and I use one application and distribute onto a clean freshly washed scalp. It feels like the product does thicken the hair shaft a little bit. It is light and not greasy and doesn't weigh down my hair. I apply to sections of my scalp the next day and again no grease and gets absorbed into the scalp. As far as density I don't really see it yet again I am still in testing mode. But it's nice to try.

Not sure if it works in the intended way, as it made hair feel dirty and lifeless.

Age: 40s Hair type: Long hair (past shoulders) Products: Nutrafol Women Hair Growth Supplements + The Ordinary Multi‑Peptide Serum for Hair Density I started using Nutrafol Women about six months ago after my dermatologist recommended it. At the time, I was noticing my ponytail felt lighter and thinner, and shedding during brushing felt more noticeable than usual. With consistent use, I started seeing subtle but encouraging changes after a couple of months: More baby hairs at my hairline Hair overall felt thicker and fuller Less hair loss while brushing This is very much a slow‑and‑steady product—you have to commit to long‑term use to see results. For me, it's been worth it. I usually wait for a sale and stock up on refills, and I'm comfortable with the cost given the results I've noticed and my dermatologist's confidence in the research behind the brand. I even convinced my husband to start the men's version, and he's been happy with it as well. Nutrafol also offers a scalp serum, but to be mindful of cost, I looked for a more affordable topical option and added The Ordinary Multi‑Peptide Serum for Hair Density a few months ago. Honestly, it's hard to say how much of my results are from the serum versus Nutrafol itself. I think of the serum as a supporting "boost" rather than the primary driver. It's easy to use, reasonably priced, and even if the added benefit is modest, it feels worth including alongside the supplements. Overall, this combination has worked well for me as a long‑term, realistic approach to hair density in my 40s.

I will buy again

I apply gel and mousse in the shower after washing my hair, then I let it air dry. You say to use it on clean, dry hair. Because my hair always has styling product in it, does this mean I can't use the serum?
- Asked by Mir
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there, we recommend using Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density on clean, dry hair. Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. Was this answer helpful to you
