Be careful if your hair is dry
I wanted to love this. As someone with fine hair, I really appreciated how lightweight and non-greasy it was. That said, my hair is dry from the winter weather and indoor heat. I thought this would help, but it actually made my hair more dry and caused static. Dimethicone actually can seal in drynes...

Not travel friendly
Bought a travel size of this and the bottle leaks everywhere! Liked the product for how much i was able to use it but it's half gone after an 8 hour drive and everything is covered in oil 😢
Does not work for me
Overall it makes my hair look weighed down and frizzy at the same time. I bought this to use as the last step in my routine to smooth out my hair. However, it ends up leaving residue and not doing much for my frizz, even when I add more than I usually would.
I like it
I like this product a lot, but im not obsessed with it for the price. It is very sticky and i wouldnt call it "lightweight." The directions say to use it on damp or dry hair but its impossible to spread evenly on dry hair, so it ends up building up in certain areas and missing others. Ive found it works much better for me when i put it on towel dried hair!

It is very difficult to asses whether or not the oil is actually protecting my hair from the heat of a hair straightener, as I feel that my split ends have neither diminished nor increased after using this product ( and I have used it for six months now). On the positive note though, I still like it and repurchased because it has a lovely scent and as an oil its light and helps detangle. It is also leaping bunny certified, which is a must for me. Bottle itself is glass.
