- Q
Can i used this serum once week at night with rosemary hair oil too or should the serum be used alone.
- Asked by fawn
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageUnfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
is this a hydrating serum?
- Asked by Maria
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there, this will have a slight hydrating effect as it's a water-based serum but the main target is scalp support for thicker, denser, fuller-looking hair. If you'd like something a bit more nourishing to the scalp, you may wish to explore our Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for Scalp. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Not just baby hairs - it works!!
This review is long overdue but given the rate of natural hair growth I wanted to ensure it wasn't just fuzz, baby hairs, or wishful thinking. As you can see I also have some psoriasis on my scalp before I began and still. This product had no affect, neither positive or negative, on the psoriasis ...

DECIEM will not disclose content concentration
This product is in large part marketed on the fact that it contains REDENSYL. There's some clinical evidence that REDENSYL promotes hair growth. However, DECIEM will not disclose the concentration of REDENSYL in this product, making it impossible to compare with alternative products containing the i...

not worth the hype.
I experienced the worst flakey scalp imaginable after using this. Many hype this serum up as a cecred dupe, i feel like its a nice light weight serum though. I didnt use it long enough to speak on hair growth because of the flaky scalp.
Burning
I had an allergic reaction to this and my scalp was itching and burning :(
Not for my hair type
I used daily for about 3.5 weeks, and only used this product. I now have two bald spots. Would add photos but I cannot
Greasy but Drying
It is still too early for me to tell any results for this product (only been a month), but the texture is very weird. I got this to preserve my Cecred drops stash and to try a cheaper alternative, but the feeling it leaves on my hair and on my fingers when I apply is definitely offputting. I use this product on my hairline and down my middle part, and it leaves a greasy/buildup feeling but also makes my hair dry. For reference, I have 4b curls that have been bleached and dyed, so moisture is already a struggle. I use an electric scalp massager for 5 minutes before and after applying this product, as well as a microneedle roller brush twice a week. I would definitely exercise caution if you are prone to oily hair, as this seems like a recipe for ruining a wash day if too much product is used. I will continue to use this product until I run out, and will update my review if I notice any signficant growth during that timeframe.
made my forehead break out
My hair line is a bit thin on both sides of my forehead, decided to try this. I broke out in little zits and a rash after 1 night, took me 3 to figure out this is what caused it though. Idk if I didn't let it soak in enough before laying down - I am a heavy hand-on-face sleeper so I'm assuming I accidently dragged the product across my forehead at night. Something to be mindful of if you sensite skin!
