Hold nixit between your thumb and forefinger. Squeeze.
- Insert
Sit on tippy toes and glide nixit back & down towards tailbone as far as it will go.
- Tuck & Check
With your index finger, push the front rim of nixit to tuck it up and behind your pubic bone. Is it in? When you stand up you can keep your index finger on the rim of nixit to check that it has stayed tucked up and is in place.

ABSOLUTE MAGIC for people with heavy flows and IUDs!
I have been using the same Nixit disc for five years now and I want to favorite thing about Nixit before I get into anything else: you can empty it without removing it. Let me repeat: YOU CAN EMPTY IT WITHOUT REMOVING IT.But first, some caveats. Ideally, you should remove and wash it every time you ...

Not Realistic (Long Detailed HONEST Review)
As someone who has used menstrual cups for about a decade, I wanted to try this disc because cups may weaken the cervix over time (I do not know of any studies that prove this, but it is a concern that people have) and because the company claims it can be left inside during intercourse. I have tried...

Great! It is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I feel much better knowing I am no longer contributing to unnecessary trash. Highly recommend!
Not quite right for me, but maybe for you!

There are a lot of things I loved about Nixit. I was able to consistently get through the night without overflowing on my heaviest days, something my cup couldn't do for me. I liked the self-emptying feature. I liked that it was easier to go #2 with it in; with my cup, it felt more difficult to pass a complete BM. I am not sexually active, so I did not test it with intercourse. However, I had a problem with leaks when sneezing or coughing - sometimes very large leaks, sometimes away from home where I couldn't change out of blood-soaked pants. If it was a big enough sneeze to cause a bladder leak, it was a big enough sneeze to cause a disc leak. After a lot of research, I learned that many other people with weak pelvic floors say that softer discs are more prone to dislodging when coughing/sneezing. Based on their recommendations, I am now using a firmer disc and I'm leak-free. If your pelvic floor is not impaired, this could be a great product for you, especially if you have a very heavy flow. I loved everything else about Nixit! It's easier to insert than a cup and the high capacity is fantastic. But I've gotten the same benefits from my firmer disc, minus the sneeze problem.
Good, stable product, but not ideal

It is a struggle to learn how to use it, we need it more instructions like video or something. It is still not leak-free, because the disc is quite high and when you empty it the blood will stay on your vagina and it will drop (you need a thin panty liner but still)
