Clears stubborn dark spots
This is the best cleanser I've ever used. My face broke out during covid from wearing masks and left severe dark spots for years! Not even prescription creams worked. I was using the Laroche Posay purifying cleanser for a few years but recently felt like I needed a change so I switched to this and I started seeing results within 3 days. It's been over a month and my skin is glowing and my dark spots are unnoticeable.

Caused cystic acne
I used this with the corresponding face serum for 3 weeks and it caused a major breakout of deep painful acne all over my face. When I quit using it, my skin rapidly healed and has been fine since. I don't know what ingredient caused this (maybe the high concentration of niacinamide?) but this product isn't for me. It did lighten hyperigmentation but didn't improve melasma.
Oh my God????
As a neurodivergent, I flock to products that deliver, deliver quickly, can accomplish several jobs at once, and don't leave me wanting to wipe it all off to escape the feeling once I'm done. It's rough out here lol, especially with darker, sensitive skin bc so much just isn't formulated to work as well for us, whether you're consistent or not. But this? Unicorns are real, y'all. I use it with the rest of the Mela B3 line, but this cleanser is a standout on its own. Yk how sometimes you wipe toner over your face and dead skin gets on the cotton pad? NOT ANYMORE. It's fading dark spots I though were gonna outlive me, and I haven't even been using it all everyday. I'm glowing after just CLEANSER, and I don't have to put up with tight skin for it! T•T And it plays well with my other products, too! I bought the whole B3 line on impulse and am keeping everything. Prepare to be SICKA ME!! More and more brands are remembering us black and brown skin girlies while they cook in the lab. And La Roche-Posay has gone above and beyond with cute, purple packaging to match. Stuff like this makes it easier for people like me to maintain and genuinely get excited about self care. I never would've thought this is how good things could get.
