I used this and corresponding melasyl serum daily for approximately 3 weeks before having one of the worst breakouts of my life. My face erupted in cytsic acne. I only used this and the double repair moisturizer. I tested them out separately and they both made me breakout. badly.
Clears stubborn dark spots
This is the best cleanser I've ever used. My face broke out during covid from wearing masks and left severe dark spots for years! Not even prescription creams worked. I was using the Laroche Posay purifying cleanser for a few years but recently felt like I needed a change so I switched to this and I started seeing results within 3 days. It's been over a month and my skin is glowing and my dark spots are unnoticeable.

Caused cystic acne
I used this with the corresponding face serum for 3 weeks and it caused a major breakout of deep painful acne all over my face. When I quit using it, my skin rapidly healed and has been fine since. I don't know what ingredient caused this (maybe the high concentration of niacinamide?) but this product isn't for me. It did lighten hyperigmentation but didn't improve melasma.
