The Mandelic Acid Serum by Good Molecules is formulated with three gentle peeling agents and two sizes of hyaluronic acid that come together to exfoliate sensitive skin.
Key Ingredients
- Mandelic acid—known as the mildest alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) because of its larger molecule size—resurfaces skin without discomfort.
- Mild polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) boost the mandelic acid effects with additional brightening and hydrating benefits.
- Two sizes of hyaluronic acid salt enhance the hydrated, silky touch and help smooth out dry skin patches and fine lines.
Apply a few drops at night before oils, creams, and moisturizers. Let absorb for 30 seconds before applying other products. Use up to 4x weekly. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Wear SPF during the daytime. For external use. Avoid contact with eyes.

Is it supposed to have an industrial glue mixed with mildew smell? Admittedly, it's fragrance free, but it has a concerning odor.
- Asked by Odor?
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThanks for checking in! The Mandelic Acid Serum does in fact have a 'natural' smell, as our products are in fact fragrance-free. However, this should not have a strong off putting scent or mildew type smell to it. Godsend
I dont think ive ever written a product review in my life but i felt so compelled to recommend this to other people! I have insanely sensitive, acne prone, oily skin. Awful combo for the girlies that need regular exfoliation but are also sensitive to everything. This is other wordly tbh. It gently...

Not good for sensitive, acne prone skin
I got this mandelic acid serum after doing research on AHA's that are good for acne prone sensitive skin because mandelic acid is supposed to be more gentle. Unfortunately it was not. My skin immediately burned when i put it on and the next day I had huge cystic pimples all over me. It also feels ex...

FINALLY
After struggling with clogged pores for so long, this product has finally cleared up my skin. I recommend this to everyone who has literally tried everything and nothing seems to work. Its so amazing!!
Love the product- hate the smell
I decided to try this as an alternative to an expensive ($55) nighttime serum that does wonders for controlling my oils during the day. For context, I have SUPER oily skin and even layered primers don't work without the serum. Well, thank goodness, this one appears to do the trick. I think it's the mandelic acid. If you can tolerate the smell, it's a winner for oily folks.
Good molecules
I love good molecules products but this one was too harsh for my sensitive skin. Would be good for someone with less sensitive skin.
great exfoliant for sensitive skin, in moderation
works well at getting rid of closed comedones and whiteheads on my pink, sensitive skin. skin looked brighter, too, and i could feel when i washed my face the next morning that my cheeks were really soft. the price is unbeatable. just don't overuse!
Caused horrible acne
I love good molecules but unfortunately this serum caused horrible deep acne on my face :(
