Key Ingredients

  • Mandelic acid—known as the mildest alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) because of its larger molecule size—resurfaces skin without discomfort.
  • Mild polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) boost the mandelic acid effects with additional brightening and hydrating benefits.
  • Two sizes of hyaluronic acid salt enhance the hydrated, silky touch and help smooth out dry skin patches and fine lines.

Q
What shouldn't this serum be used with? Sacylic acid, Niacinamide or any others?
Asked by Positive Ashley
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
Some may develop enhanced skin sensitivity if this serum is used in combination with retinol and other retinoids (tretinoin, retinal, etc.). We recommend avoiding retinoids while using this serum. We also recommend not doubling down on products that contain exfoliant acids, such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, or salicylic acid. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is it supposed to have an industrial glue mixed with mildew smell? Admittedly, it's fragrance free, but it has a concerning odor.
Asked by Odor?
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
Thanks for checking in! The Mandelic Acid Serum does in fact have a 'natural' smell, as our products are in fact fragrance-free. However, this should not have a strong off putting scent or mildew type smell to it. I dont think ive ever written a product review in my life but i felt so compelled to recommend this to other people! I have insanely sensitive, acne prone, oily skin. Not good for sensitive, acne prone skin

I got this mandelic acid serum after doing research on AHA's that are good for acne prone sensitive skin because mandelic acid is supposed to be more gentle. Unfortunately it was not. My skin immediately burned when i put it on and the next day I had huge cystic pimples all over me. It also feels ex...

I love good molecules products but this one was too harsh for my sensitive skin. Would be good for someone with less sensitive skin.

works well at getting rid of closed comedones and whiteheads on my pink, sensitive skin. skin looked brighter, too, and i could feel when i washed my face the next morning that my cheeks were really soft. the price is unbeatable. just don't overuse!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I have lots of acne scars due to having pretty bad cystic acne a few years ago, and this is definitely the best product I've used to get rid of them. I've only been using it for about a month now and I can already see a big difference! I also have very sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate it at all.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks and it works great. It is gentle on my skin. I havent had any irritations and I have a bit of a sensitive skin. I only use this at night so I cant tell you if it is irritating in the day. I wake up with smooth skin and it clears up my skin really well. It has a thick consistancy. I would say similar to maybe snail mucus. Overall I will continue to use this to clear my skin and help with skin texture.
