Starting with clean lips, use the thin side of the felt tip to line and define. Flip to the wide side to contour and fill in the rest of your lips, then dab to blend. Layer as desired.

Not for old ladies. If you have lip lines it follows them and makes you look terrible. Old. But I thought it look nice with lipoil.

For the price, this lip liner/stain is unbeatable. Great colors, stays put for a couple of hours, and wears well.

3.5 stars. i was really happy to see elf come out with a lip marker like this! my only issue is the smell. it has a strong musky smell. not pleasant. it lingers on my lips even when i top with a nice smelling gloss. i'm not sure if that is typical for this product, i've only purchased one. if i could have this without the smell, i would definitely repurchase many of the shades!
It's okay
I bought this specifically for a vacation I has went on. I used it for 7 days straight. It has a not so great scent, the tip is difficult to use for precision. Longevity probably good for 1.5 or less, I had to reapply constantly throughout the day. I still used it because the color is beautiful of my lips but could be improved.
Won't Come Off Even When You Want It To
This is an awesome product when used properly and with the right expectations. I've purchased lip stain markers at all price points and if you're expecting a lip stain marker to have any moisturizing properties you actually need to look for a completely different product. This product works best when applied to clean, dry, exfoliated lips. This is beat used as a liner. Apply carefully and let it dry for several minutes while you do the reat of your makeup or something else in your beauty routine. The longer you let it sit before applying another product over it the better it will hold. If you intend to use this for all over color you will need to apply something moisturizing on top remembering any petroleum based lip products will affect the longevity and performance of this product. I bought 1 color initially to test. I am extremely happy with how this product works and will be purchasing more.
