Waste
Opted for the Jolie shower heads in my showers to help my children with eczema in June. Not only are the filters pricey, but they DO NOT WORK for more than 1 month and decrease the water pressure. Invest in a water softening system instead. Had I listened to my gut, my children would not be suffering with skin issues right now and I would not have already thrown away almost 1k in the showerheads and filters alone.
Best Investment
So far we love this shower head. It was extremely easy to install and the filter was included for first month. Not a strong pressure but the fact that my skin isn't dry and itchy makes me very happy. Being a hair stylist and working for Ulta my partner and I use expensive products. It's important to use filtered water for your hair and skin especially when using top quality products.

I had a Jolie subscription for a long time. First thing I'll say is their customer service is horrible and if you sign up for a filter subscription they will not notify you ahead of time when it's time for another filter to be shipped so unless you track it on your personal calendar, you might receive a surprise charge - I think subscriptions are fine so long as you receive notice so you can decide to delay shipment or skip a month if needed. The second thing is this shower head is HEAVY and I dislike that it's not a handheld one. After using it for a year, it got to the point where I could no longer untwist the shower head and remove the filter. It might be due to buildup or some other reason but it's impossible and customer service will do nothing about it. Upon further investigation I've come across numerous reviews from other users who say they've tested the water with the Jolie filter and there's absolutely no change in the water which means it's a snakeskin oil product sold by charlatans. And it's really expensive!! There are MUCH more affordable options available!
