I received this product for free from Lolavie in exchange for my honest review and honestly, it's alright. I have really fine long hair (that looks thick because I have a lot of it) and it did clean my hair as expected but I didn't really see any notable benefits besides that. On the other hand, this shampoo smells amazing and luxurious -- a citrusy/lemony smell. That was my favorite thing about the shampoo. If you like little luxuries like things that make you smell good (I do), then I would recommend.

I am absolutely loving the Lolavie Hydrating Shampoo! It cleanses my hair beautifully without leaving my scalp feeling dry, tight, or irritated-which is a huge win for me because I normally hate that burning or uncomfortable sensation I get with some shampoos. It leaves my wavy/curly hair feeling incredibly clean, soft, and hydrated without making it feel heavy or weighed down. Even after using my other styling products, my hair still feels light and bouncy. After styling and diffusing my hair, I was honestly amazed at the finish it looked and felt almost like I had just gotten a blowout! My waves/curls felt soft, smooth, hydrated, and beautifully defined without feeling overloaded. This shampoo has definitely earned a permanent spot in my hair routine. I'm genuinely impressed!

This year I learned my hair is actually dry, textured, and wavy, not the frizzy straight hair I always thought it was, so I've been experimenting to find a routine that works. This shampoo is marketed as hydrating, but on my hair it felt more clarifying than the moisturizing shampoos I usually use. It didn't give me the extra moisture I was hoping for from a hydrating formula. Because I use a lot of styling products, including silicones, which builds up, I'll probably keep it in rotation as my clarifying wash instead of my everyday shampoo. It smells great and the packaging is lovely. If your hair runs dry like mine, you may want to pair it with a richer conditioner or leave-in.

The smell of this shampoo is luxurious. My hair is left smelling fresh and clean without being over powering. Lightly sudsy, the ingredients brought out my natural waves beautifully.
