Step 1.) Wet face with lukewarm water

This soap doesn't remove waterproof makeup.
If you don't use waterproof make up then this is good for you, but I use waterproof makeup and it doesn't take off all my makeup. I will not recommend it for those who use waterproof makeup. I like the cream to foam it doesn't dry your face, but will not purchase again.
very convenient to have a refill
I purchased the refill option and it was convenient and easy to use. it filled up my 16oz bottle and with some left over! I got it on a sale, so it was cheaper than buying a whole new bottle.
Nothing special, no foam
Meh, this was ok but not great. Doesn't clean off mascara or eye makeup very well. Doesn't really foam, mainly just a cream cleanser. Not drying, but since it doesn't clean makeup off it's at best a second cleansing step. I have dry skin and love Cerave, but this really didn't do much for me. If your face is already mostly clean, it's fine, but if not use something else.
My daily cleanse
Great product, I use this every night, it removes all makeup including waterproof mascara, my skin never feels dry or tight after use.
BEWARE if you have Fungal Acne!!!
I've been using this product for years and have been struggling with severe breakouts. I recently found out that this product contains Cetearyl Alcohol which exacerbates fungal acne. After a week of using La Roche-Posay Toleraine foaming cleanser my skin is breakout-free and glowing!!
