Can this product be used on straight hair? I want something to use to protect against heat and is also good for dry/frizzy hair. I don't want any chemicals or silicones which is why I'm inclined to reach for this product, but most of the reviews are from people with curly hair and this spray does have a light "hold" to it as the description says.

I like the SheaMoisture line for its natural ingredients. I have very fine thin hair with a light amount of wave that most often ends up looking frizzy as the day goes on. I recently started using the Jamaican Strength and Grow shampoo with leave-in conditioner (which I dilute for my fine hair). Which Shea product would be best to add for a styling component, specifically to create curls/waves in fine hair?

I use this product nearly every day, both when creating a style and when refreshing a style in the morning. But I haven't noticed that this product has any real 'hold' at all. Its ok
I wanted to love this, but I just like it. Smells great, makes hair a tad smoother and a tad softer I guess. I spray it on damp hair at night, wake up and hot roller my hair. Doesn't add much shine, adds no hold at all. Not sure if the protein and oil in this did anything or not.

This product contains glycerin, folks! One of the first few ingredients, too. It's totally useless to me.
Makes my curls hold!
Love this! It makes my curls stay and I get two more days! I spray it on when im 50-60% dry then finish diffusing. Thats it! Also great to refresh by smoothing those fly aways that come up after day one. Just love it! Highly recommenc!

It was a complete waste of money. I shook it good and followed the directions exactly and it did absolutely NOTHING. I was even generous about spraying in areas that are prone to get frizzy... It's as if I used only water...

Definitely my new go to hairspray. I was looking for a strong spray that could control frizz in florida humidity without being crunchy. the frizz control is AMAZING!!!! If youre thinking about getting this, get it
Not for me
I have very thick and coarse hair so I have never had any problems with products being "too heavy" in my hair…until this product. Its really heavy and sticky, like the consistency of hair gel but in spray format. Dont get me wrong, Its a good product and does help with frizzyness and reviving my curls—unfortunately, it did not give my curls the natural look I was going for :/
