Floored by how my hair looks with this spray!
I was fortunate enough to be gifted this wave spray from Curlsmith as part of their product launch, and I have to say, I was genuinely blown away by its performance. As someone with fine curls, it can be really hard to get lots of volume while minimizing frizz, so I was skeptical about how effectiv...

Great product for curly hair.
Ehhh...
Curlsmith has some great products, so I felt bad about giving this a 2 star. I've been using this spray for a month now and while it was good for the first half, I've noticed my waves looking flatter by the end of the day (I know it doesn't have a strong hold) and my hair feeling dry. Not only that, but the instructions are super vague, leaving room for user error. 1. I use on damp hair after using Curlsmith leave-in conditioner 2. I spray into my palms (because it doesn't come out in a normal mist) and scrunch through my hair 3. I let my hair air-dry in a satin bonnet And upon reading the ingredients, I noticed it contains benzyl alcohol. Short-chain alcohols like benzyl alcohol evaporate quickly to emit scent (like perfume!), but can cause the hair and skin to dry out as well. A short chemistry-nerd rant, but I felt it was important to note (short-chain alcohols are not the same as fatty alcohols like lauryl, stearyl, and oleyl, which actually moisturize.) Maybe next time I'll see how it reacts to dry hair...
It's ok
This is a good option for touching up your Irish curls. But if you're looking for something that will hold, this one is not it. It is very lightweight, and no strong smell. However, my hair does fall flat by the end of the day.
Did opposite of its claims
Hair Type Wavy Hair
My previously straight hair has become more wavy and frizzy in recent years (currently 2A/2B texture) and I'll start off by saying I LOVE the Curlsmith Air Dry cream. I was really eager to add this in, hoping it would finally give my waves the smoothness and definition they're lacking. I followed the instructions and used the product sparingly as others have suggested, over the air dry cream, but the result was exactly the opposite of its claims. It made my hair feel like hay, look more frizzy than before, and ironically, with less definition than when I use the air dry cream alone. Maybe there are other products and hair textures this plays better with, but I don't think it's worth the effort. I returned it.
love
this leavs my hair soft and takes away my frizz and I can have my curls all day long. I love it and will forever buy it
