After shampooing, thoroughly towel-dry hair to remove excess water. Brush out hair using a detangling brush or comb, and separate into large sections. Place The Half Shot underneath each section and work it gradually from roots to ends, until the section is dry and smooth. The Half Shot can also be used on dry hair to create a smooth, finished look. For defined curls and waves, use vertically throughout the hair. For volume at the roots, use horizontally at the crown.

Left my hair silky and shiny
I really liked how the this product worked! I've tried a few blow dry round brushes and this is my favorite by far. It left my hair shiny and silky with little to no frizz. It didn't feel like it was tugging on my hair at all, like other round blow dry brushes have.

The bane of my existence
I write this in anguish and agony, this product ruined my life. I'm a 17 year old girl and my hair is gone I thoroughly followed all instructions yet over the course of a few months all of my long luscious blonde hair was ripped from my scalp. I wouldn't wish this product on my worst enemy

I was gifted this item by drybar for my honest review. I absolutely love this hair dryer! It styles my hair so beautifully without having to hot curl it! And it lasts a long time too. Never had a problem with it tangles! Gifted by drybar.
It's ok…
I purchased this wanting a smaller round brush since I have short hair now. I normally use Hot Tools blow dryer brush which I will happily keep using after trying this. The hottest setting is way too hot, the slightly cooler setting leaves my hair very frizzy. Not a fan at all. I returned this the next day after purchasing. Not for me!

This styler is everything to me ! From drying to styling ! Cutting getting ready time in half . I love that this hair tool does everything from straightening to curling . I love that the barrel is smaller to help achieve nice waves and curls . Complimentary from drybar .
Worth your coin
I think this product works great if you have layers! My hair is down to my waist and overall just one length so I couldn't get any of the curls to stay or work well. It did leave it really smooth and nice! Didn't take to long to dry. Gifted by dry bar!
Amazing on my hair!
(I was gifted by drybar ) I'm loving this brush so far. It works best with damp or dry hair. It's so amazing I wish I never bought my hairdrye!! My hair gets insane volume when I use it and I almost have no frizz after using it.
