My daughter and I both have wavy, frizzy hair. This is by far the best flat iron we have ever used. Leaves the hair silky smooth, and shiny.
It heats up fast, but I've beenjsing it daily for about three months and the metal on the plates it already chipping and scratched off, and the blue on the iron has flakes and coming off as well. It will pull my hair out sometimes or gets stuck and doesn't glide smoothly anymore. Not impressed considering the cost.

I've had it for two years now and I wish I could return it. As a straightener it does it job, but the design has a few flaws. It's very easy to accidentally turn it off and because it's so small it's really difficult to clamp. I'm going to keep it to do my edges but I'm in the market for something else now.

I have been shopping for a new flat iron. I was so excited for this purchase until I got home with it. I have fine hair and it doesn't make a smooth pass and it snags my hair. I will be returning .

This straightener is everythinggggg! I saw my stylist using it and had to get it the next day.
I'm writing my review and still have two pieces left to do but I'm just so happy to have found a cure to my frizzy dry dead-end hair! LOL
It transforms my coily 3B/C hair into salon professional straight beauty! I didn't even have to chop off my dry frizz like I thought I would!
If you're reading this, don't think about it, be about it.

So I purchased this because a hair stylist told me if I want good results on my hair I need to go with a titanium flat iron. I was previously using a ceramic Revlon flat iron and it kind of did its job but I knew I could get my hair silkier. This flat iron here is the real deal. Usually when I flat iron my hair it only last for up to 2 days or that same day if its windy outside. With this I'm going on day 5 and my hair is STILL nice and smooth. I wish I would have bought this years ago. I highly recommend this to anyone and also don't forget to turn up the dial to make it hotter or else it won't do anything.

So I wanted to share a review on this bc it really is an amazing straightening iron! I have very curly and frizzy hair. My flat iron broke that I had for 13yrs - yes I know I very long time- so for 13 yrs I never had to venture and try new products, needless to say now I was on the market for one. After doing my research and reading some reviews which would be best for my hair type I came across the chi lava... while I was in the store I had one of the sales associates tell me her thoughts on the chi and she said she recommended this babybliss 2" for me and my hair type. So I took her advice and put down the chi lava and picked up the babybliss and purchased it and went home. Well this iron did not disappoint! If you have curly and frizzy hair like mine THIS IS THE IRON FOR YOU!!! I even took pics of one side ironed with the babybliss (no hair products in) and the other side just quickly blown dry to show my natural hair.

I'm so bummed this stopped heating already after 8 months. However, my husband took it to ulta and they marked it as defective and gave us a new one as he had used my rewards card to purchase it for Christmas for me so we had proof of purchase there. Hopefully this one lasts longer. Thankful I didn't have to buy a new straightener again so soon.

It was great until it stopped working after having it for only a year. I've had way cheaper flat irons that lasted longer.
Loved this iron! But today, only 8 months after buying it, it's stopped heating. I'm pretty bummed for the price it was to already be dead.

So bummed - this is my 3rd one and 2 of them quit working after 1 year :(

Location of on off switch terrible, you can't keep but hit it while using it so while doing your hair you turn it off and have to keep turning it back on. Really bad design. Hair can get stuck in plates. Plates Too thin so you have to overly clamp it closed with your hand to get plates to connect with hair so it wears out your hand quickly! Not a good design. Taking it back tomorrow :(

I absolutely love it. It is everything I was wanting in a straightner.

I thought this would be good by reading the description and the price. It is awful! I am trying to relate my hair. It is very damaged from bleach and processing. I need a tool that dose not pull or damage my hair any more. This is not the tool for that. The plates are fixed and pull hair. You have to squeeze hard to close the plates together enough to straighten the hair, unless you have a big chunk of hair. The heat must be on 400+ to straighten the hair, which damages it even more.

This iron does not last . I've had two and they both went out right at about 1 year . They would heat up and just turn off immediately .. there are way better ones out there .

So many hairstylist use this but this flat iron is terrible! I've had mine for 3 years and every time I use this to flat iron my hair it looks and feels so rough and dry. Not to mention it stopped working out of no where. I've now switched to a ceramic flat iron which works MUCH better than this.

I have long, wavy, thick hair and this flat iron made my hair look a lot more damaged than it already was. I used heat protectant and a lower heat setting to try it out, then raised the setting a little more because it wasn't really doing anything. In the end, my hair didn't even stay straight throughout the day and it looked incredibly course. I've heard AMAZING reviews about this brand (my hair stylist even uses it!) but this flat iron was not worth the price for me, it could just be my hair but I am definitely going to return this and try something else.

I have wanted this straightener forever. I finally had the money to get it and i was so excited to use it. It was a huge disappointment. It will not straighten the ends of my hair no matter how many passes i make. The length of my hair will come semi straight but only after several passes. My hair would never come out smooth. It was always rough and frizzy. My $20 revlon straightener works way better than this.

Works very well on my curly, thick hair.

This is a true single pass flat iron, and it is great for doing silk presses. I have never seen my hair this straight since going to a professional stylist to get it done. BUT, my hair felt terrible after using this just once...and I had it pretty low for my hair type, at about 310-320, because of how hot the plates get. I blame it on the titanium, as I notice ceramic flat irons leave your hair relatively silky and soft in comparison. Titanium may straighten faster, but even with a heat protectant, my hair was very dull, and very dry, and just looked really unhealthy...like it was fried. I think this is something really suited to professionals.

My hairdresser uses this flat iron me, I have very thick hair and I always leave her salon with shiny smooth beautiful hair so I splurged on this and it was worth it! I look like I left the salon every time, easy to use, beautiful reaults

I have just 5 months with this iron , I just used once in a while , and one day I was trying to use it and surprise doesn't work . I have a iron that cost me 15 dollars I have 8 years with that iron and work perfectly

I purchased this iron around 2010 Bc I loved the way my friend's iron worked. It left the hair looking really sleek and shiny. The iron lasted me about 8 years and after that it wasn't getting as hot as it used to (which I think it was normal since the iron was old). I bought the iron again this year and was very disappointed. The temperature on the iron was not as hot as the first one. The new iron felt like it wasn't hot enough. I had to keep going over my hair several times. It was very frustrating Bc I have thick course hair. Luckily I was able to return it (without a receipt or box). Since it was past the 60 days Ulta gave me store credit. I am now trying the Paul Mitchell which I saw has a lot of good reviews.
