Worth the Wait!

Let me premise this review by saying I have had quite the journey with this product but I am so glad I stuck with it. I have medium length fine but wavy hair. I have a history of it getting VERY oily and rely on dry shampoo pretty heavily on the days I don't wash my hair. I had an extended transitio...n period and there was more than one day I showed up to work looking like a giant grease ball. I tried everything I knew how; extensive scrubbing using more product using less. Nothing I seemed to be doing worked. After researching the issue I realized that it was the condition of my water that was preventing the product from working. I live in Wyoming and we have very hard water - I simply wasn't getting the product out of my hair all the way. I started rinsing out with an apple cider vinegar rinse combing the product through and using a bit more than I was in the beginning (8 now versus 4 at the start). These tweaks have made the product work for me and I'm really happy I chose to stick with it. My hair isn't weighed down I have no split ends (even 12 weeks post-haircut) and I'm noticing I can go more and more days without shampooing my hair even on days I work out. During my transition period my scalp did break out but it was a temporary thing. I use about 8 pumps every other day and one bottle has lasted me about 8 weeks. I'll post my hair routine below for anyone having problems! Also: Customer service is amazing! I ordered the Hair Balm which was unfortunately too heavy for my fine hair. They sent me a free bottle of All Dressed Up when I explained that I wasn't crazy about the product! I was mega impressed. My shower routine: 1. Wet hair thoroughly. 2. Pump product into hands 4 times. Run through hair targeting roots. 3. Comb hair through to get product to scalp. 4. Scrub scalp (without nails) for 2 - 3 minutes. 5. Three more pumps of product to target ends and any other missed spots. 6. More scrubbing (2 minutes max). 7. Finish the rest of your shower routine. 8. Lightly rinse. 9. Take a squirt bottle with your acv spray (4-5 tablespoons of vinegar for every cup of water) and spray through hair targeting scalp. Scrub for a minute and let sit for 3-5 minutes. 10. Rinse! P.S. As my hair has adjusted to the product I've been having to use less and less vinegar to get it all out! I used none today and my hair is flowing like a mermaid! It seems like a lot but it is worth it. My hair has never looked better! Thanks Hairstory!
