The Ordinary recommends performing a patch test prior to incorporating a new product into your skin care routine.
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day. After cleaning, saturate a cotton pad with the formula and sweep across the face and neck. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
Contraindications: Do not use in the same routine as direct Acids, EUK 134 0.1%, retinoids, pure or ethylated vitamin C, or peptides.

It can also exfoliate areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin. However, we do not recommend applying this product to covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. This is the first and probably only review I will ever write because I want my plus size girlies to know how amazing this product is… I use this under all my rolls and creases to control ODOR!!!!! Yesss odor!!! I use it under my boobs, behind my ears, around my neck, under my tummy, my groin area, literally every crevice that can possibly trap sweat/bacteria and cause unpleasant smells. TMI but I've actually gone an entire weekend without showering, because I'm a lazy bum, and I can confidently say I smelled as good as I did on the day I showered. TRUST ME ON THIS. You need to try it!!!
Great as deodorant
I use this on my face, bikini area, and underarms. I dont notice it doing much on my face, but its a great daily exfoliant after waxing. The area where it has blown my mind has been my underarms. I apply a decent amount after showering, and i can go at least 24 hours without B.O. i stopped using deodorant all together. I swear, i can go to the gym, work a double shift at a restaurant, and still smell like nothing. I have my room mate smell my underarms daily and they are shocked that they dont smell like anything.
