I am 50 years old and currently using this cleanser. Should i use this cleanser or switch to the foaming cleanser? I am also looking for something for my eyes. Do you have any recommendations?
- Asked by Daisy
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHello! Both Squalane Cleanser and Glucoside Foaming Cleanser are suitable for all skin types. Choosing between the two mostly comes down to personal preference. Generally, we find that those with dry skin prefer the Squalane Cleanser, while those with oily skin may favor the Glucoside Foaming Cleanser. As for eyes; we suggest exploring The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum. <3Was this answer helpful to you

What cleanser is best for mature normal skin with anti age concerns. Please don't just say all skin types? There must be a cleanser that suits a skin type best. Thank you
- Asked by CA
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there! Since our cleansers are suitable for all skin types, choosing between them primarily comes down to personal preference. For example, if you have normal skin and your regimen is focused on hydration, we would suggest going for the Squalane Cleanser or Glycolipid Cream Cleanser. Those whose regimens are focused on oil control might prefer the Glucoside Foaming Cleanser instead, as it has a lightweight, gel consistency. Was this answer helpful to you

Bottle is sold Half empty
I understand the product is affordable. But I didn't expect the bottle to be half empty. Disappointed that I'd probably only be able to use a few times before I run out. I left the silver plastic seal on the cap to prove I just opened. Really disappointed

Meh
I ended up switching to a more hydrating cleanser. This one was not suitable for my aging skin.
I would buy this product again
I'm so glad that I found this product. 64 year skin that feels fresh and moisturized after each wash. Definitely recommend
Made me break out
Left an oily residue. For comparison, I will sometimes use Lancome's Bi-facil makeup remover (think micellar) and it's less oily after use than this face wash. I broke out with several deep blemishes on my cheek and below my chin that took a while to heal. I have combination skin, so the placement surprised me. Also doesn't remove all waterproof mascara well.
I wouldn't purchase again
This cleanser made my eyes blurry. That's with them being closed shut. It didn't even take off my makeup like it claims it would. There's better cleansers out there.
