1st Way to Wear
Step 1. Section the top crown of your hair and gather into a half up half down hairstyle.
Step 2. Open the claw clip and secure it over your half up half down bun or ponytail. If your hair allows, you can use Emily as a claw clip and clip the top half of your hair back without using an additional ponytail holder.
Step 3. Match the style: If you do not have this hair pattern, you may want to curl or wave the bottom section of your hair using a 1" - 1.25" wand or curling iron.
2nd Way to Wear
For short or thin hair, clip the mini ponytail extension over a bun for a wavy ponytail look.

Here are some tips and tricks to keep your your ponytail extensions looking perfect for as long as possible:
Brush before and after each wear.
When brushing, lay the pony flat on a table and brush gently, starting at the ends.
Work in sections and slowly make your way to the base of the ponytail.
Avoid brushing from base to ends. This can cause "split ends" in the fibers, just like your real hair.
Use a detangling spray before brushing to help remove and prevent tangles and knots.

My New Favorite INH Girl is Emily
I own a number of INH ponies but this is the easist to apply by far, and I was thrilled to not only find her at Ulta— but in my PERFECT shade, Mocha Melt! Sometimes i have trouble getting Lily and Jordynn to stay in place, but NEVER with Emily. This is the most effective way to look polished in a hurry.
White, Not Platinum
I was really excited to try the INH HAIR Emily Ponytail Extension because they offer a "platinum blonde" shade that appeared very light. As a licensed hairstylist with true platinum blonde hair, I struggle to find extensions light enough, most "platinum" extensions are still too dark or yellow for my hair. Unfortunately, this shade is not platinum blonde at all. It is pure white, abnormally white in a way that isn't achievable on real human hair. Even the lightest platinum blonde hair still contains some remaining pigment. Hair cannot be processed to this level of white without completely destroying the cortex and melting off. Because of this, the extension actually made my real hair look darker by comparison, which was shocking given how light my hair already is. You can even see in the product photos that the ponytail looks slightly too white on the model as well, likely adjusted with editing. I can't speak to the comfort or wearability, as I didn't take the ponytail out of the packaging to try it on. I didn't even need to remove it from the box to see the mismatch, just holding it up to my hair made it obvious that the color was far too artificially white, so I'll be returning it. That said, the quality of the synthetic hair itself does look decent, and I'm sure this ponytail would work well for someone with an easier-to-match blonde or a different color altogether. But for anyone looking for a true platinum blonde match, this shade is misleading and not realistic. This might work for a senior citizen or someone whose hair is naturally white/unpigmented, but then it should be labeled as such and not platinum blonde.
Definitely will buy more.

I can't believe the color I chose online matched perfectly! Aside from the fact that my friends know my hair isn't that long, they thought it was my hair.
