I've been using Estée Lauder powder for many years. NEVER WAS A DISAPPOINTED UNTIL THEY DISCONTINUED OIL CONTROL DOUBLE MATTE PRESSED POWDER AND LUCIDITY TRANSLUCENT POWDER !! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK SOON!! THEY WAS THE BEST POWDER EVER AND DIDN'T SETTLE INTO ANY FINE LINES OR WASN'T THICK AND CAKEY LIKE THEIR POWDER IS NOW , ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. THE SHADES ARE AWFUL TO. DON'T MATCH AT ALL WHEN HAVE FAIR TO MEDIUM SKIN COLOR AND DON'T WANT TO BE WHITE AS GHOST. WHAT HAPPENED TO MEDIUM AND MEDIUM DEEP SHADES. THE DOUBLE WEAR IS THICK AND DOES NOT GLIDE OVER SKIN WELL. HAD TO GET A DIFFERENT MAKEUP SPONGE AND IT STILL WANT GLIDE ON RIGHT. .I WILL BE LOOKING FOR A NEW POWDER, BRING BACK OIL CONTROL DOUBLE MATTE PRESSED POWDER AND LUCIDITY TRANSLUCENT POWDER. Its just not that great. It creases shortly after putting it on, get patchy as you wear it, but reapplication looks cakey. I wasn't here for shade-gate so the color match is good on me. Figured it would be better because of the brand and price.

I don't know what has happened to this company. I've been using this makeup now for almost 30 years. NEVER WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! NOW NOT ONLY ARE THE SHADES NOR RIGHT, BUT THE DOUBLE WEAR IS THICK AND DOES NOT GLIDE OVER SKIN AND Absorb. IT DOESNT LOOK THE SAME, DOESNT FEEL THE SAME. SAD!!!! I WILL BE LOOKING FOR A NEW COSMETIC COMPANY. PROBABLY A NEW CEO IS CUTTING BACK QUILTY TO BOOST PROFIT AND FORGETS THE ONLY REASON YOU HAD A CLIENTELE WAS Your QUALITY. BYE

Why change a good thing?! I always received compliments on this make up and now it's leaving my face looking cakey and uneven. The color change is also very unfortunate because now, I can't find a color that matches like before. Without warning of the color change to the stores and customers, the colors just changed. I received two when I placed my order in July and one was the old color and one was the new color. I had no idea this was changing. Now even with a color match in a store, I find that it's not going to be the same and nothing really matches like it did. I may unfortunately have to leave and not purchase this again as it just doesn't sit as well on my face as it once did. The make up is not sitting well on my face and not melting in like it used to. Very unfortunate! I thought about changing many times before because there's so many new and great products out there, but I was so loyal to this brand because it has done so well for me. I just can't say that anymore, unfortunately.
