BREAKOUT BAD 58 yr old
DO NOT USE Reformulated recently. I feel like they're doing it to try to catch up with all the other powders and they've just made it worse because it's not free of anything Never in my life have I ever had pimples on my face. I am a very long time loyal Estée Lauder customer. I just went to purchase more because I was out in love and behold totally broke my face out really bad. Had to go to the doctor. I should be reimbursed. I am stopping all Estée Lauder products unfortunately that makes me sad. I have to start all over to find something I can trust I do not recommend this product. After using for a week, I broke out and I've stopped using it and I'm still breaking out and after research they have ref formulated this in April 2025.
New formula is so orange

I've been using the 4c1 color of this compact for years. I just bought a new one last week and when I applied it to my face, I was so shocked to see how orange it was. The color was completely different and the actual consistency upon application is also different. I went back to find a new color and came home with what the sales lady and I thought matched my old 4c1 but it's dark on my face and the application is not smooth. I will need to look for a different brand I think. I hope you bring back the old formula.
New Shades
I have worn 2W2 Rattan for years, but I can now no longer wear this shade. When I applied my new 2W2 Rattan powder, it made my face look ORANGE! Since the powder is not available in an Ulta store, I will not be able to find a different shade in person. I guess I am going to a different store or switching brands. Either way, I am extremely disappointed in Estee Lauder.

I've been using the shade 2C1 for almost 7 years now. Just recently purchased 2 compacts since i ran out. Imagine my surprise when I go to put this one and my shade has suddenly changed since my last order. Thought it was a mistake with the fullfilment dept and I ordered a refill! Same terrible orange color that is no longer the same color as my 2C1 from just a few months ago. This seems to be the going trend in all the recent review and seems to be a major problem. Why would you change something and be so horribly off??? Everyone purchasing is now looking like an orange monster! Seems that you'd want to keep long time lovers of your product and make a change back otherwise many will have to leave and find another company. So upset!!!
Color Much Darker
I agree with some other reviewers...I've been wearing Pure Beige for many years and it was perfect. The new formulation is WAY darker. Tried going to a lighter shade, actually tried several other shades but couldn't match the old Pure Beige. Changed to Lancôme "Buff" 220 and it matches the old Pure Beige and I actually like the softer, "blurred" finish better. Sorry to leave Estee Lauder.
