Hate this new formula. Doesn't cover well, looks cakey, shiney after about a hour and it broke me out. The old formula never broke me out and lasted. This is not a good foundation anymore and now im on the hunt for a different kind. Estee lauder has been my go to for 10+ years and has completely failed with the new formula

It wears beautifully on dry skin. There's no clinging to dry patches, and no tight feeling. It easy to smooth on, evens out your complexion, and stays fresh all day without turning cakey.
An iconic foundation ruined
Congratulations EL you ruined a cult favorite! This new reformation is complete and utter trash. Ive been 100 percent loyal to wearing only your foundation for over a decade and I'm completely heartbroken. We loved this product for its amazong full coverage. If I wanted something sheer and skinlike I would be buying a cheaper sheer foundation.

The new formula should have been made a whole new, separate foundation line because it is nothing like the old formula. It's watery, blends horribly, and has no coverage - building up to more coverage just makes it look like you got the cheapest and orangest fake tan possible then dunked your face into cooking oil. One pump of the old formula gave me perfect coverage that lasted all day with minimal oil showing through in my tzone by the end of the day, new formula has me looking like a greasy mess before I even leave to go out and the longer this crap sits on my face the more I can feel it stinging my skin. Wearing this new formula is torture, 4 pumps of it doesn't even provide half the same coverage as one pump of the old formula and because you need to use so much more for semi not so horribly inadequate coverage feels like you are having every last pore on your face being suffocated to death - I have had eczema flare ups less uncomfortable than how the new formula feels on my face. Doesn't matter if I use less than 1 pump or an excessive amount of pumps in attempts to get the same amount of coverage as the old formula; it stings and burns, settles into fine lines and pores in the most unflattering way, and it doesn't seem to agree with any moisturizer, primer, concealer, or setting spray/powder that the old formula worked so beautifully with. Please fire the genius who ruined the best foundation on the market. 1w0 was my holy grail with the most perfect shade match for my skin, if the new formula was actually the same shade I might be able to tolerate how much it irritates my skin but now I just look like a greasy orange idiot. And please for the love of all that is good and holy, bring back the old formula!

I've been using this from Estée Lauder both morning and night, and I'm honestly obsessed. The texture feels so smooth and luxe going on—it melts right into my skin without feeling heavy at all.
