I've been using the original formula for years!!! And loved it, why did it have to change? First of all as soon as I shook the bottle I noticed a difference, it felt more watery. Second of all to me it had a fishy odor. My face was smelling like sushi.Not full coverage had to use more product. I am not happy with the new formula very disappointed.

I have been a loyal user of Estée Lauder Double Wear in Pebble for over 15 years, and it has always been my go-to foundation. I've tried many others over the years, but nothing ever compared in terms of feel, staying power, coverage, and perfect color match. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the new formula. From the very first use, it felt completely different. Instead of the smooth, comfortable finish I've always loved, it feels sticky all day long. My skin has that tight, almost mask-like feeling, which is very uncomfortable. The color has also changed significantly. Pebble no longer matches my skin—it now looks noticeably yellow/orange on me, which is very unflattering. Even more concerning, I've started experiencing breakouts since switching to the new formula. I have never had this issue before with Double Wear, so this has been really frustrating. I'm honestly so sad about this change. After 15 years of loyalty, I can't wear this version due to the look, feel, and skin reaction. I truly hope Estée Lauder considers bringing back the original formula.

The ORIGINAL Double Wear Foundation has been my tried and true foundations for over a decade. It controlled oil, it was versatile (I can add moisturizer to it for a more sheer look), it lasts all day and doesn't feel tacky or transfer. I didn't need powder to set it and it didn't make me break out. I am in my mid 40's and I have fine lines and some dryness and oil. This was always the best (and I would try other foundations here and there and always go back to this one). The NEW formula is awful. It's more orange (I am 2N2 Buff and the two colors are different), its tacky, it needs powder, it doesn't last past 11am and it doesn't provide enough coverage. It's like the company wants you to use double the product for a similar effect and its a money drain. I have broken out with big pimples, it stays tacky on my face all day. I just hate it and will have to move on to another product. I wish they just kept the original formula and then made a "sheer" product as an alternative. Replacing the Original was a big mistake!

I've been using the Double wear for a while now. It has very good coverage and the color is great for my skin tone. It goes on well and stays on without any issues. I might try something a little different for summer as I would like something just a little lighter. But overall, I think this is a great product.

Oh my gosh this is super devastating for us oily girls who relied on the old double wear foundation and it was the only foundation left anywhere that would hold in place for HOURS. This new formula is STICKY, it's THIN, and it oxidizes so badly. I want to cry. Why didn't they just make another foundation instead of REPLACING WHAT WASNT BROKEN. I don't even know what I'm going to do. Everyone I know who has tried this new formula agrees they will not be able to wear Estée Lauder double wear anymore ): so so sad. Please keep the old formula!! I will have to try a completely different brand of foundation now. I have only wore Estée Lauder double wear my entire life and now I'm lost of what im going to do now. They are going to lose a lot of lifetime customers for doing this )':
