Apply generously into palms and work through wet hair, using your usual technique. Scrunch upward. Squeeze any excess water out and air dry or diffuse. Don't touch! Once dry, use hands to shake root area, and lightly scrunch to soften.

I absolutely loved the mousse from this line, so I wanted to give the got2b Curl Defining Gel a fair try as well. I'm not a huge gel person to begin with, so I haven't used all of this product yet, but I do have some early thoughts. First, definitely use this gel sparingly. Unlike the mousse—which is super forgiving and buildable—the gel isn't as flexible. The more you add, the crunchier your curls will get. That being said, it does work really well for keeping flyaways and frizz under control, especially on humid days or when my curls need a little extra help staying in place. I'm still learning how to properly use gel in my curly-hair routine, so honestly, some of this could very well be user error. I tend to be pretty heavy-handed with products, so that might be part of the issue rather than a flaw in the gel itself. Overall, if you like gels or need something to tame frizz and hold definition, the got2b Curl Defining Gel is a solid option—especially when paired with the mousse from the same line, which I absolutely fell in love with.

This product was a little too thick even for my thick and long hair. Maybe I just don't have enough curls for it? I'll stick to the cream instead and won't purchase again.

This was a great gel it held up really well I did also pair it with the loose and some hairspray for that early 2000 ramen noodle scrunch look absolutely my favorite and I usually use the Aussie freeze so this was a nice test of a different product the gel worked great

I have heard so many good things about this gel and i can't wait to take my braids off to use. I really hope it does make my curl pop and makes my hair shining and voluminous. The scent is not bad since I like it and it looks like a cream texture. Nice hold i heard
