Finally used the Color Therapy yesterday and I am very impressed with its performance! I have lovely silver grey along my hairline but in order to combat "ageism" in my job search (sadly this is a thing) I am choosing to cover my grey for a time. This Color Therapy is exceptional as an in-between coloring maintenance. My personal takeaways from using this produce are as follow: 1. After rinsing shampoo, squeeze out excess water and if you have gloves use them, otherwise you'll have to quickly wash your hands to avoid staining. Not impossible but surely a tad concerning. 2. Start where you want the best coverage first. For me that was my hairline up front. It's possible to need a little Vaseline around the ears but not awful if you don't. 3. Work the Color Therapy carefully and quickly!! You will be ready to rinse it out in just 5 minutes!! My end results were very impressive. The lovely resistant and natural silver grey along my hairline darkened to my former natural looking chocolate brown of my 30s. (I know right!) and the Grey at my crown turned to pretty golden highlights, which for me, was a pretty youthful plus. Something else of particular interest, I used the Color Therapy immediate after a curl-reducing relaxer. My hair is actually baby fine and curly or wavy so I use a mild form of relaxation from time to time. Also, after rinsing out the Color Therapy, my moisture craving locks were given an additional moisturizing rinse. My overall results were fantastic! Madison Reed's Color Therapy is a great addition to any woman's in-home color maintenance. Thank you!! I am looking pretty great!
Okay so I just tried this in the Caffe color to neutralize my ashy medium brown hair that can sometimes turn a little golden after excessive shampoos.
This turned my hair like a slight cherry cola color. I thought that was weird that a neutralizing color mask would give me that result—unless there was some kind of red coloring agent in it. And sure enough, there's Red 76 in the ingredients. Should have read this before purchasing....I might still use this in the future but combine it with my regular blue/indigo color depositing mask.
Otherwise, this product is great. I would just take "neutralizing" with a grain of salt.

I got an awful dye job at the salon like two years ago. she bleached my ends practically white when I went in for a balayage. I went to another salon to have it fixed and she put brown demi permanent dye over, to bring my back more to my natural color, and it which worked for a while. then started to fade and I had brassy yellow ends. this covered it all up completely. my hair looks back to it's totally natural beautiful brown. I've already bought this twice now and will be buying extra to stock up when I get the money . my hair looks just as good as it did when I left my $300 color correction appointment

I am not grey all over so my chic daughter convinced me to leave grey streaks in the front. I color the rest so it looks more vibrant and I have an older chic look. I also use Madison Reed Glassa Shine Reviving Gloss which is "The Ultimate Shine Refresh." And, Madison Reed Radiant Hair Color Kit is the best at home hair color I have ever used.
I started using it years ago when I discovered it at a high end department store - they no longer carry it but I am so happy it is now sold at Ulta and more reasonably priced.

took my brassy orange faded balayage on natural medium brown hair all, to a dimensional all over chocolate.. in one use

Not sure if it did anything because I rinsed it out fast. It stains your skin. Took me for ever to scrub off the brown color. Returned

I purchased this product to neutralize the brassiness in my hair. I found it to be too messy for its extremely minimal effect.

I actually bought this to warm my hair color up just a smidge. I have extensions and my hair needed just a touch of gold to be a perfect match. This was perfect and not at all difficult to use.

This is a must have for me! Every shower it works like a conditioner and deposits color. My color lasts much longer now that I use this product.

My hair is brown heading towards grey now so I am choosing to color with a combo. of blue & magenta color depositing conditiiners I the roots only. This brown product serves to enrich my brown hair while toning the blue down so the overall tones look integrated.

This color therapy is great! It adds just a bit "extra"! I was complimented several times for the new look, when all I did was use the therapy!

Was hoping for that coating of whatever it is that covers the hair with the all over color. My hair is AWESOME after all over color. This makes it very soft and shiny but there's no body or volume. I guess I'll switch to the gloss mask. hopefully that will give my hair the body it gets with an all over color.

I didn't want to buy it at first, but so glad I did. It really makes my hair look good between coloring.it's a quick way to freshen up the color. I highly recommend.

I felt like it stunk and for what it costs, you have to use a lot / frequently to maintain any results. Not a complete waste - it works okay to touch up dulled color as a "patch up", but definitely not worth it for regular use between the smell and the cost.

I wanted to tone down brassy tones between coloring. I have used several times. I was walking by a mirror next to a window. I didn't realize how brassy my hair looked after using the product. Worse than what I started with.

It feels, looks and smells great. I was looking for something to help my hair highlights look grayer! Yes grayer. This Perla Color Therapy really helps.

This product is messy. It runs out if the tube the minute it is opened. I don't notice much of a difference in my hair after use. I would not order again.

This added too much violet tone to my hair

Once I figured out that leaving the color therapy on for only 5 minutes did not produce good results, I decided to lightly towel-dry my hair after shampooing outside the shower. Then I apply a generous amount of the product thoroughly to my hair (wearing gloves) and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing. Wow! Really superior results that mostly covered my gray roots. Great for in-between colorings.

I was not impressed with this product at all. It really didn't help with my gray hair when it started to show! After I used it I felt it looked the same
Donna S from HENDERSONVILLE, NC
The color goes on so easily, looks and feels amazing.
