Great Shampoo for Wavy/curly hair!
I noticed after having a baby that my hair wasn't respinding the same to my shampoo. I really like the moisture line from kenra. It cleans my scalp really well and ive noticed my hair is "less brittle." I have type 2C hair for reference.
Worst Ever
A few reviews says this is a clarifying shampoo. To the contrary, you will need one if you use this super super heavy shampoo!! The scent and smell is disgusting! The shampoo is heavily ladened with oils and leaves a waxy horrible feel. Combined with the conditioner, which the 3rd ingredient is DIMETHICONE which is the worst silicone - not water soluable, builds up on itself, your scalp, and hair. Causes hair loss over time. This is the worst brand and shampoo I've ever had on my hair. I honestly don't know how I am going to get it off. Its made my eyes and face burn and scalp is irritated!
Simito L'anza healing moisture shampoo
This shampoo is similar to L'anza healing moisture shampoo, and that is not saying a lot. First off, my hair is past my bum, natural (no dye, no chemicals, nada). I have type 2c curly hair with very little porosity. This shampoo smells like Windex. So disgusting and gives me a headache. It is so drying to my hair, my ends look like straw and the frizz is worse than before. I wouldn't even gift this. I am returning and sticking with my matrix or unite.
Avoid if you have thin low porosity hair
I tried this many times wondering why after using and testing on its own, my hair came out looking like I stuck my fingers in a light socket. Since this a strong clarifying shampoo and rather pricey, I decided the result must be from something else. But I tested it alone sporadically over a number of weeks, on its own, and found that it left more fusion and buildup than it was supposed to clean out. I always suffer with shampoos and conditioners with this frustratingly thinning and low porosity hair, but I've definitely gotten far better results with cheap drug store shampoos. Pass it up if you have low porosity.
Don't hesitate!
I have sensitive skin and after using this shampoo once a week my hair and scalp have felt so much cleaner before it was very oily and there was product build up.
