After you've wet your hair, take your Bottle-Free Beauty shampoo bar and either rub the bar between your hands and massage the lather into your hair, or paint the bar directly onto your scalp. Be sure to separate and lift your hair to apply directly to areas that need extra cleansing. Our Bottle-Free Beauty Bar Bag is an excellent addition for a super-sudsy clean. Okay, but not for thick/long hair
I've tried it for 6 months, and I really wanted it to work. If you have thin, or short to medium length hair, maybe it works better. I have thick, long hair and it's just too bothersome to get enough foam and to get it all over the scalp. I have to rub the bar very vigorously to get any foam, but no...

In the last year and a half I seem to have developed an intolerance to some ingredient in standard shampoos that results in a thick, patchy buildup that appears on my scalp. I generally only shampoo once a week to 10 days and some shampoos cause a reaction within 3 days while others take 6-7 days. I've been on the hunt for a clean shampoo with no reaction and I found it in the castor oil shampoo bar. My scalp stayed clear for a full 10 days and my hair was so soft and healthy looking, I'm really impressed! I'm so happy to have found Kitsch and look forward to trying the other shampoos.

I was skeptical about shampoo in a bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is easy to use especially in the shampoo bag. It left my hair feeling softer than it used to be. My only hold back is the scent, while milder than others it is too much for me.

This bar left my scalp feeling so clean, and the hair at my scalp so soft and shiny. Definitely a new favorite. I double wash, triple on an oil day, and this lathered up nicely.
