Shake well. Smooth mineral sunscreen liberally over face 15 minutes before sun exposure and as needed. Apply after your daily skin care routine. Reapply SPF at least every 2 hours or after towel drying, swimming or perspiring. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor.

Is this product more like a lotion, or more like a cream? The name "fluid" suggests a thinner lotion consistency, but the picture looks like a fairly stiff cream consistency.

Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Mineral Sunscreen Fluid For Face is a great alternative. While this is not intended for the lips, you can use it on the face and around the delicate eye area. I've tried a lot of sunscreens, and the Clinique Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is one of my favorites. It's super gentle, lightweight and blends in nicely without feeling greasy or heavy. It doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts, nor does it make my makeup look cakey, which is a big win. A little dot goes a long way, so the tube lasts longer than you'd expect. I would definitely repurchase this product.

I use this everyday and I have very sensitive skin. It's very light tint is sheer and evens out my skintone with no white cast. I'm so glad it's spf 50 and I recently listened to a segment on npr that shows blocking visible light (with tint and very specifically with the ingredients included in this product) maximize effectiveness. So it's got everything you need in one step.

I prefer a mineral sunscreen with a SPF of 50 as I live in the mountains. I have tried city block and felt that was a bit to greasy and the tint can sometimes come off as orange. The mineral fluid can be used as a primer prior to foundation and still blend in with your neck area.
