Doesn't really emulsify/there is residue
It feels like luxurious honey, it smells incredible, love the packaging and the name, and my skin feels nourished afterward BUT...there is always so much residue that won't wash off. I can't rinse this off at the sink. I tried to and it didn't feel clean, even after I followed up with my gel cleanse...

Came in a Jar, not tube
Have not tried yet, but kind of annoyed. I ordered this product specifically because it came in a tube, and jm sick of dipping my hands in containers repeatedly but when it arrived, it was in a jar. Not sure if ill be using or returning. All pictures of product had the tube, not the jar.
Ulta sent the old product in the jar
Ulta is sending the discontinued version in the jars not the pictured tube if you buy online. This is a good product but it's incredibly difficult to use in the jar since it's a LIQUID. I assume this is why they changed the packaging. Unusable.
love the new bottle!
I previously ordered this when it was in a jar, and i didn't buy it again because I personally didn't like in that container--having goop on your hands, it's a little hard to screw a lid back on without getting said goop everywhere. but I loved the product itself. so when I saw they switched to this container, I decided to try again. love love love. this is really wonderful for getting off *all* of your makeup and face sunscreen, and the ingredients are safe for acne-prone skin--you can double check that on the acne clinic nyc website. will always recommend this. Will always recommend this brand in general
My forever go to
This is on repeat order for me, a wonderful double cleanser that removes my waterproof mascara. Doesn't break me out and has wonderful ingredients. I use it nightly and it lasts me 2 months.
unconventional but very effective
I read reviews and was concerned slightly before purchasing, but, i've used nearly the whole jar now and can relay my experience confidently: you definitely want to double cleanse when using this! (i follow with farmacy clean bee face wash.) otherwise you'll have a bit of residue left. i think the point of the balm is to be cleansed. but, this product does a great job getting rid of excess sebum and texture on my face in the way other cleansing balm/oil products don't. i really have enjoyed using and will buy again! a big bonus is that my skin is highly sensitive and allergic to most skin products, but to this one it had no reaction at all.
